We were happy to allow Dr. Ashley Sikand, Otolaryngologist with Nevada Sinus Relief, and his team visit us this week to observe and learn how Dr. Slaughter performs balloon sinuplasty, septoplasty, turbinate reductions, etc., in the office, under IV sedation. Dr. Sikand also shadowed Dr. Slaughter in the clinic today to observe the clinic process and talking points in hopes to grow his practice and offer higher quality care to his patients. We wish Dr. Sikand all the best in growing his practice.

Team Taco Deli is a cycling team that participates in the BP MS 150, a 2-day, 160+ mile ride from Houston to Austin to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. Dr. Slaughter has done this ride a few times in the past. Also, his mother has MS. For both of these reasons, Dr. Slaughter is very connected to this ride.

Dr. Slaughter presented to a group of pediatric dentists, family dentists, orthodontists, and oral maxillofacial surgeons on “Sharing the Airway – ENT and Dental Overlap in Sleep Disordered Breathing”. The multidisciplinary approach from each of these specialties is so important in helping patients in our community with the development of a normal airway and in the correction of serious issues such as snoring and sleep apnea.
